what they could do, is adding a warning for the wind that gives enough chances to hide/grab something

If I remember correctly a full nighttime of cold = 100% of your stamina bar. So long as your health/food are pretty topped up all you have to do is drop your backpack and you can take a short sleep from the cold and wake up just fine. Until you get really low on stamina you can keep trying to progress in the meantime

Yes! You need rope. When you find a mandrake, put some rope next to it, then grab the rope, then grab the mandrake and it will automatically be stored in one of your (free) inventory slots.

No, the rope is for a "glitch" of sorts, while you are holding rope (to ascend or descend), it lets you store the mandrake in your inventory.

What I find interesting is the implied link between the Napberry, Cursed Skull and the Book of Bones. All 3 share the same scattered, purple glow on their surface. What if the Aztec-like folk who occupied the island had this sort of ritual combining deep sleep, sending them for a walk in the Underworld to Commune with the dead? Of course, we all know there's also evil spirits in the Underworld, thus the Cursed Skull's origin being a ritual gone wrong. The Book of Bones is the result of a successful set of rituals, finally being able to pull the lost soul out from the Underworld, at the cost of one's own flesh

I was able to bounce on a mush, then grab a vine and then climb and I got it via climbing, I think it's horizontal distance I'm not sure.

you can also find a bounce mushroom spawn and take it near a spider spawn. place it below the spider, jump on it and get grabbed... the achievement should pop once the spider takes you into the air
