A few days ago when I tried it, the terrain was bugged so a whole portion was visible under a rock. I shot a chainshot into it, then was able to grab it and leave! (Not without going the wrong way, then realizing I found the entrance by mistake, then having to circle back while trying to do parkour with a 50 pound bing bong)

I was able to make it to the kiln, so I'm very happy about it! I'd say for now, wait till you see another tear in the map, you can shoot a chainshot right into the tomb exit, grab idol, then just go right back the way you came

Make sure not to shoot it at the ground though, I think the floor may stop you from entering and you'll just fall into the void

Honestly not bad. Tropics can be a wee bit annoying to climb if you don't see the easy route but Alpines was pretty simple. Caldera is Caldera, and I'd say the Kiln is like medium difficulty as far as Kilns go.

Alpine is as easy as it can be I think o: I can see Tropics being a bit tough today though. My first run I did this whole stupid thing where I climbed up the right but I had to horizontally work my way all the way to the left to continue to climb. I've since checked it again and found a much easier and faster route

At the start from the shores hill there is a vine to the left that takes you to one of those big pillar things and from there another vine that takes you through a waterfall. The rest of the climb from there is as simple as it gets, I wish I had found that on my first run through xD

all 3 of us got stuck on this rock after climbing for a while (like halfway through the kiln i’d say) and there was no way out, we placed a cannon but couldn’t aim it well bc the rock was slanted downwards and we had to aim upwards. so we just placed it and hoped for the best. it seemed to be angled well, so one of us climbed inside and we lit the fuse… he was shot against the wall 2 meters in front of us and fell down, into the lava. it was the most hilarious moment ever

AFAIK, capybaras spawn in alpine, but can be overwritten. I have only been looking into this for 2 days, so BIG grain of salt.

Are balloon spawns height dependant? As in do they spawn at a higher rate if you climb further up or is it a fixed rate

balloon badge doesn't need balloons, you just need to not take fall damage.
YOu can do itwithout save scumming. I HAVE FAITH

I'm not sure how many balloons it takes to start making you drop slower

i got mine on ground floor of tropic, so, no, i think its height from where you took off, as long as you have 6x balloons you should be good*.

The reason I ask is because I heard that chain launchers are more likely to spawn further up the mountains (still spawns in the shore, but less likely I think?)

To clarify, the Capybaras always spawn in both the Alpines and Mesa. In the Alpines, they spawn somewhere on the face of the cliff and have 2 yellow winterberries. In the Mesa, they spawn on the ground before the canyon and have a single yellow winterberry. There are also mirage oases in the Mesa that disappear as you get approach.

I had two all-cures, mushroom platform, 1 medkit, pandora lunchbox and 1 cooked egg at the final climb. All-cures were spamused when I fell, today's seed is quite... hard to climb without any tools, haha

most issues I had were in Tropics and inside Volcano

but my run was blessed, I found 3 balloon bundles total that run
