It has much easier to climb rocks

It just has more hazards but the climb itself is easier

Maybe not on high ascents since Mesa might take longer to get through

Easiest one for cooking is near the very peak of the climb, because you are basically right at the campfire by that point

I would say about 70% of the climb I did internally, and 30% externally. Mainly central climb

Also if you lack items/food, dont scout cannon across. The canyon/ravine plus route back up tends to have quite a few luggages inbetween the dynamite

yeah. rope spool, piton, and even "itemless" (no climbing util just backpack) work to wallclip in. chain launcher is just much easier

I got really bad luck the first few times but once you get used to it you do get better. Today was pretty easy for me. It's the tornados that can screw you over though so make it to canyon quick, stock up on foods. I had my cooked berries keep my energy full. Only moved at night until we reached sunscreen.
