i guess the cactus spikes only appear if you walk into a cactus, but yeah you have spikes sticking out of you that you can remove (though eating the spikefruit gives you the effect and no spikes, it just dissapears over time)

For the 24K Karot Sacrifice Achievement:

1. Sacrifice yourself and the golden idol found at the Temple at the Kiln when the lava rises.

2. The temple entrances- ALL OF THEM, are glitched and inaccessible without breaking the game or modding.

3. Even if you get in and get the idol- the achievement Will. Not. Activate. The reason is because of the coding revolving around it in general.

4. Those who have it can use Achievement Cheat-mods to prock the achievement on Steam's end.
