oh yea also in general you can save a lot of stamina on jumps by only sprinting after you leave the ground. mostly worth considering for "jump and climb" situation or for doing chained walljump (some ppl call it spider tech but dont believe this name)

i see alot of jumps involving both the rope trick and this jumping idea at the same time that save me probably 35%-50% of stamina bar over other people with just two simple tricks

mostly important to know when making huge movement to the left or right but if executed correctly gives huuuge reductions on stamina consumed, very op

That's the scoutmaster. He's really friendly. If you meet him you can give him a hug(Giving him a hug heals you from pretty much all effects other then weight and hunger). To meet him, all you have to do is be higher then anyone else, and to be the only person around for like, 400 meters. He's designed to help people really far ahead.

I have now started using rope as a weight nullifier
50 weight backpack? 0 weight if you have 1 ropespool
see a hard climb?
put your backpack down, fill it up, climb with rope, let down a tiny bit of rope, climb down, pick up back, continue on
also helps anyone in multiplayer (you need to yell at them every singel time to not pick up your backpack)

if you only need short ropes (1meter) you have 20 uses

you can actually as of the new update take advantage of this with the elytra they added, just have him yeet you and then you whip out the wings and glide up as high as you can, use the space bar to flap until youre low on stam and then just put it away and take it out to glide before you hit the ground. super useful if you can kite him around until the group lights the campfire and then use him to skip half the next area (or the entirety of caldera today if you save the wings for that stage)

(risky)

40 less weight could make the climb possible, sucks for everyone following you though

droping your back for the climb also has the advantage of helping you learn how much rope is needed
because you will immediatly retrace your steps

yes it sucks when you have absolutely no source of heat, even no other players to huddle
and you have to basically be belowe 25% hunger, dropp all weight and go afk for 3 minutes

but it's managable

i think the total night cold you will get is 150% ? im not sure. you barely survive while at 0 weight with 25% hunger (you almost turn into a skeleton)

as for inventory vs backpack (if you want that), id say piton, energy drink, and lolipop for pockets and so spare piton, 2 cure alls, and chain launcher for backpack, reason for lolipop + energydrink (in that order) being in inventory is that they work best right next to each other (infinite stamina + boosted speed? heck ye), but course keep in mind the sleep penalty, so thats also why id say a piton for inventory slot 3 so incase you need to hang and rest it off

We made it i wanna say like 1/4th of the way, near the firat or secind bridge before we ran out of areas to climb... ended up dcing and my game got all bugged, saying i took fall damage when i didnt :( at that point she was also hurt and hungry so we decided the best thing to do was end the run

I think this game needs a second, harder map generation or some other way to make vanilla harder

my 12 man A6 scoutmaster rampage lobby (default delays though) 1.5x loot
just rushed up the peak in just 67 minutes
