It should be friendly enough to climb even if you're inexperienced, but this Tropics is just really unfriendly in general.

So long as you be careful about the poison you should be pretty gravy.
You also could just get lucky like me and fine 3 antidotes at the start.

#📯peak-spoilers message somebody earlier posted their run of the tropics, which I followed. basically you go down on the right side and find a case on the ground. Then there is a tower you climb with like 3 chests on it and from a tree you vine down and up into the mountain. You go left and find a chest and further down left another chest. Then wrap around right, and then there will be a tree near a large patch of thorns. And from that tree you can climb up and onto the right counter-clockwise. And then ascent left to find more chests and keep climbing

basically when you fall like big distance with no collision, your character will pull out an umbrella that will slow your fall, it's an item, and climbing with it is way easier since it gives you permanent climbing speed, like 1,5x
