cooked restored 4 hunger ticks and gave reserve stamina, uncooked and well-done restored 2 hunger ticks and gave no reserve stamina

The ONLY reason (I can logically say) that this is a repeat is due to the fact we had the update yesterday. That update was bugged and it had to be reverted. After the reversion, there was a new map that was very bugged and had really weird generation. And now today, the map shown is the same as the pre update map.

Which I have no complaints with. As we got robbed of it. The update happened and the map changed 30 MINUTES BEFORE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO. I was about to go back into the map and re run it but couldn’t. It still said “map change in 30 minutes”…. So it happened early and we got robbed.

All of yesterday was just.. messed up.

I already know how to collect the pages but I was curious if I collect a page then leave the match can I just keep reloading the generation without completing it and farm journal pages that way or must I wait 8 seperate generations?

Oh hey! I just had the same thing to me playing just now, I had hunger, was pretty hurt, and carrying some items. I was attacked by bees who knocked me out, upon "waking up" the eye blinking animation never played and I was blind! Was doing an achievement run solo and lost some progress, did the bug happen on the main game or beta branch for you? I had it in the beta branch and was going to report it, but saw that you mentioned it when I searched for "blind bug" in the sever.

I speculated earlier with another person that the bug might be caused by the transition animations failing to play and bugging, after they were stuck on the pause menu despite others in game seeing them walk around fine on the shore. There seems to be almost a genre of bug where you lose vision in some manner due to a transition frame getting stuck somehow.

no temporary pitons, just some extra stam

or boosts and helping hands if everyone makes it

you go to the capybaras for the stam and then you can make it up through there

Some geysers can kill you though but that's about it, not the hardest path

You just go right, and take the big vines.

after seeing exlporere's luggae, you go right. you can wedge yourself real good and go to a big vine that gets you all the way to the top

All I know is this just is completely wrong.

It looks official enough I just know some stuff is very inaccurate, mostly less important things but they still matter.

From my experience honeycombs give hardly any hunger, at least when cooked. Unless that value gets lessened when cooked, honeycombs at best restore a small amount of hunger. I've tried using it for hunger, not a good idea.

It also never says here that it can take away bonus stamina, which is pretty important to note.

I do a lot of my own research but I'm not like insane enough to try to check if pandora's lunchbox isn't counted as packaged food (which is surprising that it actually isn't) since I haven't tried modding yet.

Roll entirely new ones, according to some logic that results in probabilities i posted here a while ago
And then rolls a new value for your extra-stamina level.

So the previous level of extra-stamina / status effects has absolutely no impact on the outcome

theres some map baking code in the game code it seeeeems, but most of it was stripped out. Im guessing a [conditional()] statement or a preprocessor #if is in place, excluding the code, or they split it off into a separate tool. Either way, would be amazing if they released it, but i guess we'll have to wait for now, unless someone writes a new mapgen from scratch

Alpine honestly isn't so bad if you use a chain gun or a couple shelfungus/pitons to skip on the right wall.

It basically only requires a few things but makes it so trivial that it's way better.

Especially if you got multiple people, easy peasy.
