maybe worth pointing out, but falling from jumps / sprinting jumps, seems to have a way larger safe threshold for fall damage -- you can really fall a LONG way from a jump before you take damage, which you'd normally take a lot of if you were to fall from releasing a wall, or walking off a cliff without pressing jump yourself

I back off on the first initial "jumpscare" storm if there's one on going right at the start, then take cover for the other ones, usually, staying close to places you can fall down to take cover with enough stamina to not faceplant into the ground works fine. during climb I just make a mental note of where i think it's safe to wait it out. also trees can be your friends serving as cover

Mhm, each map (which resets daily but it's the same biomes and order just different terrain and location of important items) has 6 biomes if you count Peak, shore, tropics, alpines, caldera, the kiln and then peak. And I'd say each takes 10-20 mins if you're going fast, but can take longer if you take your time

Okay this is just going to be a list of badges no actual spoilers I need a list

||speed climber beat in under an hour - kind of self-explanatory just need to figure out if you're good / experienced enough by the time you need. For this one you do NEED to escape.
mycology eat 4 non toxic mushrooms - could be easy, depends on the rng, your fate is in the rng gods hands
toxicology badge - restore 200 poison damage with items, this could be possible, just need for you and friends to get that much damage and heal it with cure-all, remedy fungus, bandage or medkit over all your runs.
endurance badge - this one is tough, but you can use a chain launcher straight up perhaps, or any other tools. Energy drink or lolipop is also useful. Rope will not be able to do this.
Gourmand badge, I've told you that one before - it depends on spawn locations, there are beehive and capy location on the wiki https://peakgame.wiki/#capybara https://peakgame.wiki/#beehives then you just need half a coconut from shore which you can cook on the plane wing and an egg from caldera, I think there are definitely some today. For this one you do NEED to escape.
Peak - just reach the peak
Foraging badge - defintiely possible, mainly depends on rng, you need different types of berries not different colours
Plunderer badge - only one per run if you're trying to get everyone to get it I think. You'll need to open 15 suitcases in one run
boulering badge - place 10 pitons, definitely possible, I got mine over multiple runs but you can just place them willy nilly if you'd like.
serenading badge - you just need to bring any bugle (preferrably not the scoutmaster bugle) to the capybaras and use it in front of them) definitely doable.
emergency badge - you just need to heal an unconcious friend with healing items so def doable
first aid badge - you just need to heal 100 points of damage in one expedition, also doable
arborist - again not sure if there's a big tree today but should be doable if there is one. If you need to see what a big tree is I have a picture
cooking badge - cook 20 meals, pretty easy, you can cook most edible items and healing items, be careful with tools though, they usually broke (i.e rope)
bing bong badge - Just help bing bong escape with you, I always bring him so
participation badge - you'll need your friends to leave you DEAD not unconscious on the island.
Climb 5000m total - Each peak is like 1920 I believe so 5 runs work.
Obtain a mythical item - should be easy, I hear there's an ancient luggage at shore but it takes health to open and then if you use the campfire statues with no scouts dead you have a higher chance for it
Happy camper badge - get 5 morale boosts, need to be co-op for this and light campfire or be near campfire when lit
clutch - ressurect three scouts in a run. only need one other person for this but do need to reach three campfire statues in that case, or all three die and reach one campfire statue.
survivalist badge - escape without losing consciouness, uh, I haven't gotten it but if you're good at the game you def can.
Mentorship badge - summon scoutmaster, possible with his bugle or by leaving your friends behind, sometimes bugged, see pinned for more info.
lone wolf badge - not possible if doing co-op, need to escape fully solo
balloon badge - take no damage and escape
naturalist - eat only natural food nothing from luggage including drinks
no trace - don't use any tools except shelf fungus and smth else check pinned for achievements guide for more info
place 100m of rope in a single expedition - 8 spools of rope, depends on rng, but I'd also save it for when you need it instead of just placing it willy nilly.
bookworm badge - you need to do at least 8 runs and then go to the proper locations, read pinned message for more info||

Putting this here too since this chat may have more interest in it:

Was messing around with my cousin while waiting for his brother to get off of being AFK and we may have discovered 2 potentially unknown movement techs with the spring jump (whatever it's called where you can boost someone on top of your head)

The first one is that you can get roughly double the height from a spring jump if the player on top jumps first before the player on the bottom jumps. The spring jump can still trigger while the other player is in midair, even at the peak of their jump, giving a HUGE height boost. The game doesn't check to see if players are in a standing state when a spring jump occurs, which enables this technique I want to call the double jump (or maybe double spring or double boost?) and leads us into the 2nd tech, which is more theoretical.

The 2nd tech is still unconfirmed, but it may be possible that with precise positioning and timing, one player could save another player from taking fall damage on flat ground. If the player on the bottom performs a spring jump before the falling player hits the ground, their momentum may be cancelled, resulting in no fall damage.

I think mushroom locations are set with the map, but the mushrooms that generate when you land on the island are different each time, and include all poisonous mushrooms, all edible mushrooms, medicinal roots, and nothing

Chubby mushrooms are always safe, clusters without the skirt are safe, bugles without the gills are safe, and the buttons with the cross on top are safe

I don't know, it would be a minor life-changing improvement if the developers added a code to the rope, where if you touch where it ends, your character automatically lets go of it

I see, I see, so for theoretical swamp biome we have, similar to tropics vibe for the colour scheme, BUT we have huge trees to cross instead, vines too probably, not the thorny / non-thorny type though I think those are cheating for swamp, instead it should have big branches from the trees like the big trees in tropics. Higher chance of ticks. Lots of mushrooms on the ground level. Water similar to lava in Caldera. Water for the majority of the level with crocodiles in it that chase you but spots of land with mud in that which slows you down.

So right now we have, desert probably just sand again, add some cacti very sparesly, heat similar to the frost in alpines, maybe some trees that provide shade from it, quick sand that gives you the zzz effect if you get stuck in it. Vulture creature that tries to pick you up and can drop vulture meat if killed, you can use rocks found in the desert or elsewhere to kill it
