The way I do it. The first sketch is an idea[very messy and rough] the second sketch is more refined and shows the perspective and body propotions well. sometimes I do a 3rd one if i'm still not happy with it. And then ill do lineart

Well that's why you apply multiple layers so the lines don't show

Ofc you gotta make the wire mesh a little smaller than the size you need the sphere to be to achieve this but it works well
