i used to do some drawings for people, but i got so overwhelmed from the massive load of requests, and one of the requests i was working on was really stressing me out and making me uncomfortable because i kept showing them the sketch and they kept asking to make a certain feature uncomfortably bigger. i had to tell em no and they got mad and i was already so stressed from everything and i ended up in a not very good place. guess i wanna do comms, but am too scared ill end up there again

side advice is when youre working on art for comissions you should keep things hella spread on different layers so adjustments are way easier to make

-evie discovers a blowgun at the campfire between shore and tropics.
-slipping into a toxic annoyance mindset, evie shoots drew with the blowgun while he's standing on a ledge collecting mushrooms.
-drew falls a gazillion meters and almost dies . almost. he had the book of bones and shakily read the curse before he could die , turning into a living skeleton and following behind the group just out of sight.
-fern saw the whole thing and stays a safe distance from evie . dess wasn't even paying attention, as she was climbing forward.
-at the campfire between tropics and mesa, fern confronts evie but evie threatens them, making them run away into the next biome.
-evie ends up finding fern and pushing them into the tomb, where they die from fall damage. fern had played the scoutmaster's bugle the moment they saw her.
-scoutmaster myres approaches evie and sees that she just killed fern. he runs after her and dess, but the two girls were able to hide in the mesa's canyon, where he had to retreat.
-in caldera, dess finally notices that her team is two members short. she's suspicious of evie, but evie has the flare they need so she can't do anything.
-drew (as a skeleton) confronts evie and dess in the caldera's temple. he chases after them but isn't able to keep up, falling behind and not risking the kiln.
-evie and dess are both able to clear the kiln and make it to the peak.
-evie takes out the flare, but dess immediately can tell something is wrong. evie is about to throw it away without lighting it. dess punches evie and grabs the flare just in time, lighting it.
-dess, though hating her guts, ends up carrying evie to the helicopter, saving her too.
-drew remains in caldera as a skeleton, wandering while conversing with fern's ghost.
