What about just simplifying the hand, simple long shapes? Very quick dynamic lines to show the basic "direction" to where fingers point, then try to draw fingers without details, just very rough lines ("thin pencils"??). Palm is like a square, but a bit longer and cut from one side a bit. Idk, I'd show but away from laptop
Might look for cartoonish hands refs, they should help hopefully. At least to understand basic shapes. You feel the main shape -> can do detailed later. I've seen some peeps draw fingers from "chains" base, idk if it helps with my stuff 🙏🏻
Analyzing real hand helps along with simple shapes. If it doesn't work - might change the position or sorta, indeed

So for his jaw I just like torn jaws that allow for more mouth/teeth room. He has a form of hyperdontia at the back of his jaw, so a lot of extra teeth grow there which hinders his ability to eat a little. His spine mouth was inspired by the infected moose from zoochosis (look it up if you want) and he has a general body build of scoutmaster myres (long and skinny limbs). Also just general body horror elements from Look Outside
