Icarus is born from a Star, granting him the ability to form wings made of pure Fire and shapeshift at will. 5 years ago he climbed with his Scout Troop known as the Mountaineers. As the group's Daredevil, he was always taking risky routes and somehow got away with them. When it came to climbing the Alpines, he lost Leche (The Navigator) to the Blizzards, Shiny (The Gatherer) fell down after eating a Napberry, and Icarus caved into his hunger and ate DJ (The Scoutmaster) who was injured. Being the last survivor of his group, he ended up triggering an encounter with Scoutmaster Myres, causing his eyes to invert while his left eye had scars. Falling down the Mountain, he trekked back to the Tropics, where he knew the most amount of food was as he kept to himself, the voices in his head getting louder. He kept to himself for 3 years until a group of Scouts found him and made him climb to the Kiln with them, where he slipped and fell into the Lava below, causing the Kiln's Lava to rise and put a time limit on climbing up the Kiln from there on out. He was revived by the Mountain back in the Tropics, where he swore he was going insane. After climbing to the top of the Tropics, he ran into another Scout that was eating a corpse, and they allowed him to join in. For the next two years, he went insane and cannibalistic until that Scout Group he ran into back then came back looking for him in the Mesa. He was heavily injured by a dynamite and when his body went to recover, it rejected his Star Heart, forcing him to die from 100% Curse. The Scout Troop took his Heart to the top of the Mesa and put it in the hands of the Statue, which revived him with no Curse hinderance. From there, he crossed the Caldera and used the Statue there to revive the Mountaineers and all of the victims he cannibalized, escaping to the Peak.
