This also wouldn't work as much as you think: The only two Statues my Scout's Troup ever interacted with was the Shore and Tropics. They failed to climb up the Alpine and the Kid spent most of their years in the Tropics. 3 years into their insanity, they met a different group and tried to climb with them only to fall in the Kiln and revive in the Tropics. From there they met a friend and he proceeded to spend the rest of his time in the Mesa until he died once more, this time to 100% Curse, only to be revived by the same Scout Group he ran into 2 years ago who came back looking for him.

All I could've thought of was that:
Kala was stranded twice in the wilderness, once in grand canyon at young age (probably around 4 years old) for the past 5 years with a pack of coyotes. She was rescued and been tried to reintroduced into society by joining in the scouts to interact the others.
