Idk like imagine like having a specipic time to climba mountain, then like there are stuff in chests that can give you buffs and you get money at the end of an ascent (More money the earlier you ascend) to spend in a shop for items or upgrades. But like the mountain gets bigger every ascent

I love the idea lol Maybe with modders being a bit more active with the last biome update could be possible with a mod, but idk. That would basically mean creating and implementing a lot of new features to the game, so it's a lot of work and idk if any of the modders will want to do it

I have used Codex to make a powerful admin manager/trainer for this game, and in it you can spawn items and change all modifiers related to a specific item: Range of RescueClaw etc. so what I did was I noticed a few unused assets, such as:

• loc: cheater's compass
• hand chalk (no image to this item)
• Megaphone
  etc.

All barely having any functionality, only the compass thing seems to have a some sort of "effect" but it doesn't work in-game.

1. There’s a booklet by the suitcases where you wake up at the shore - read it!
2. Some of the food items are poisonous but the poison fades over time so don’t be afraid to try stuff!
3. There’s a fire by the plane where you first wake up you can use it to cook items. Poisonous foods will be safe to eat (except shrooms) and all food items will give extra energy.
4. Go for lots of shorter climbs instead of one that’s long and risky!
5. Use your climbing items when you need to instead of saving them because you’ll find more

to add more onto what Gabrielle said (the goat she is), here's a guide to eating mushrooms (that appear in all biomes)
Button shrooms are small little mushrooms with thin white stems and brown tops. They are poisonous if the cap is speckled (i.e. covered in dots), and safe if they have an x-mark instead

Cluster shrooms are smaller white mushrooms that appear in groups of three per 'unit' (hence the name)- they have small tops and thicker stems. They are poisonous if they have hairy/frilly stems (kinda like a finned skirt on each stem, almost). They are safe if this is absent

Bugle shrooms are larger, white, almost off-white mushrooms with these wide, funneling tops (like a bugle; again, hence the name). They are poisonous if they have 'ridges' or 'gills' on the underside of the funnel (and in my experience the poisonous ones seem a little more yellow? than usual)

The final kind of mushrooms in PEAK are chubby shrooms; these are thick-stemmed, stout mushrooms with flat, brown caps. They are always safe.
