Nah its more the cold and increased climbing cost make it really annoying when I normal prefer lower ascents just to have fun climbing. "Don't join higher ascents then" brother have you seen how long it can to join any group

Increased stamina cost is something you have to adapt to

Knowing tech can also help mitigate this

but terrain randomizer lets you choose each biome and their variant, and generates it at runtime. the reason the devs dont do this automatically is cos it can be quite taxing on lesser-able PCs and can cause crashes if youre on min requirements

i literally had skeleton status and 3 rescue claws

and i decided to go after a luggage for no good reason and i missed the ledge after using the rescue claw

i got a question (its dumb and obvious, but i want to know ur opinion).

I know the "vanilla" in lfg and any other games in general mean NO MODS. and i understand why people enjoy vanila experience (including me). but sometimes there are QoL mods like mods that show the exact number of status effects or showstime spent in the game (like for speedrun or just time in general), There are also mods that show ur teamates stamina if ure close to them (and gone from HUD if ure a bit far from them). even other cosmetics mods that just changes the appearance for the CLIENT.

those kind of mods doesnt change the experience of other players that doesnt have the mods (a.k.a the person with mods is just like vanilla player just like the rest of the team (unless the person who modded says they have mods, the team wont know theyre modded) and its different from cheatmod like item spawner or fly or infinite stamina (these kind of mods is obviously ruining the vanilla experience).

my question is do u guys allow those modded player (not cheatmod) to play with u who enjoy vanilla experience?

again, i respect ur way of enjoying the game, no hate towards u if u enjoy using itemspawner etc, i genuinely just want to know u guys' opinion

its not just about qol tho, they can accidentally cause bugs, which ppl in the vanilla lfg lobbies then report as actual bugs and leave the devs on a wild goose chase, its happened in the past with dozens of bug reports for an issue that was never there

Depends what you struggle with the most, as a general rule try to always have a little cranny to stuff yourself into in mind just in case of surprise blizzard

perhaps a hat with a propeller on it

But lolipop can be pretty good for getting up a steep spot, its infinite stamina for a couple seconds so you can spam lunge up a steep edge somewhere just make sure you're not super starving or injured cause the sleepiness you get afterwards will make ya pass out

I'm not completely against the idea some people have had of like a ruined city sort of thing either, especially considering the temple before kiln. but it'd probably be a bit tropical and we already have tropics, maybe swamp? but roots can be a bit swamp...hard to say they've covered the basics in terms of biomes methinks.

I've had a few that reach to the top before, just can be a bit difficult of a trek sometimes, you gotta trade using a few tools for the safety of not being exposed to the blizzard
