For hunger: probably purple berry. For extra stamina: probably Honey, for less damage / surviving dumb situations: the milk. For all possible best everything nothing can beat this: Cure all.

So how is this possible when you have to put the latern away when you climb or you have to somehow throw a latern in front of you/keep it active on you so you can't climb longer walls because you'd be outside of the light source and also, wouldn't you run out of fuel by the time you get to the kiln from the other lanterns unless you make record timing? If making your own lobby - and need to get the link
In the main menu, go to settings and change lobby mode to 'open to friends'.
Then press host and go into the airport.
The green 'join game' button should now appear on your steam profile. Right click it to copy the link :)

To join other peoples games using their links
You just paste a link ⁠into your internet browser (the url bar at the top) - You will get a popup to open with steam.
Do it while in the main menu, not the airport. If nothing happens the lobby is full :)

I have. Mainly cuz a lot of rules blend together and some are formatted annoyingly. (I will also skim them a lot cuz most the time they are similar to other servers) but I do make some effort. I’m just “lazy”. Trouble remembering so what’s the point of trying first when I can just reference based on the situation

I think a lot of kids rebel against the rule following bit. Ik it was also drilled into me and I’m very observational albeit I pick and choose so seeing all these other people not following those rules I held so highly made me question their value myself. And I don’t see rules to hold any real value unless everyone follows em. I also like to try to my part but have lost faith a little (yeah sad ik)

So. 13yr olds are in the state of rebellion a lot of times. And online spaces give them a place they can test waters and do whatever they want with no hard repercussions. So yeah do I think excepting them to follow rules is unrealistic, no I don’t. But I feel denying that self expression and freeing to explore isn’t something I’d want to do. But I think the reactions of “hey acting like that isn’t received well” is a good way to teach them of its importance. It validates what they have been told about rules in a place they feel is their own

(I never really know what opinion im making till it’s written no idea if this is agreeing or arguing atp)

Idk I think I just take a more abrupt approach to teaching ppl lol. E.g. here you walk on the left side of the pavement (in other countries it might be the right side etc)... If someone is walking on the wrong side and isn't hard of mobility etc, I will just keep walking.... And if I bump into them (lightly ofc, like i'll sidestep them, but just get in their way enough to know they were in MY way if that makes sense) then oh well it's their own fault 😂 I think there's a place for being soft, but there's also a place for tough love

Generally two ways you can achieve that, you can fling yourself by quickly playing dead after grabbing and letting go of a rope (that's vanilla), but generally people do it with the ragdoll keybind mod. If they aren't using a rope, that's most likely what they're doing (you can backflip and hit the keybind and it'll fling you)

You need the tomb to be open, which it will be in just under 10 hours, but taking it to kiln can be a little challenging if you aren't used to climbing with low stamina

ascents are difficulty modifiers, its still the same daily map but with added difficulties.

you unlock ascent 1 after completing peak difficulty and so on
they add stuff to the game like extra hunger, takes more stamina to climb, not having flares at the end so having to bring your own from the start etc ect
each ascent also includes the difficulty modifiers of the previous ones

you can still join others that are a higher ascent than you, but just be aware it will be more challenging

Ascent only goes up to 7 :)

i havent heard of making links not working on linux, only joining them has issues

i mean i guess it could be linux related, but just to rule out a few of the common things:

1. make sure you've set your lobby type to 'open to friends' in main menu settings, and then press host and load into airport.
2. make sure you're remembering to refresh your steam profile in the top left after doing that.
3. dont have your steam privacy things set to completely private so it doesnt even show it on your end
