dont walk into pink spore and go opposite way of the wind or hold onto something

You can use the rescue claw, chain launcher, climb up the trees, etc to avoid the spores. Definitely pack milk to protect you and a medkit to heal you if you get super spored.

There will be times where you have to walk towards and through the spore to get to go where you need to go.

Unsure if something is a bug or not. If you play on controller and hold a direction really lightly after running without coming to a stop or pressing the run button again to stop running you move slower than normal walking, but also consume stamina as if you're running.
Only unsure if it's a bug or not because it's still slightly faster than the normal slowest movement, so I'm not sure if it's intended or not.
Anyone have any thoughts on if I should report as a bug or not?

Also in future if you ever want to check yourself you can always just boot up a custom run, go to area 3, and it'll spawn you right in front of the alpine/mesa as appropriate.

At the start of a new section, I try to look at the whole mountain and pick a direction that seems to have more platforms. But after that, I often end up facing a huge cliff or a path that doesn't seem viable at all. It feels like I'm always choosing the wrong direction.

personally i get around just fine without planning a route in advance. generally, it is useful to be willing to go down in order to go up, skilled item usage can make an impossible climb doable, and always look to your sides for easier routes once you're climbing.

divide the mountain in 3 parts. Base, mid and up area. As soon as you're getting approached to the mountain try to direct yourself to the part of the base that looks better to go higher without the need of climbing a lot. While you are getting there, also look to the mid mountain, trying to find the part of the mountain that connects better with the base of the mountain and try to memorize with a pattern. I use to separate in right, left, middle, middle right and middle left. Also as last thing, you need to look to the top before getting to close to the mountain and try to connect middle part with top

and that's all. Also the part of the mountain with more small rocks sticked together uses to be the easiest path

if you see a big smooth rock in the mountain, just avoid a route that gets you into that part of the mountain

usually is cos your pc isnt beefy enough to run it - im assuming youre trying to use dx12 on a low spec pc

try changing to dx11 instead
