probably easier to do it right after the campfire from shore, you can usually see a lot of bouncy shrooms, then just climb really high onto a tree and jump off onto a low-lying bouncy shroom

Mesa launched with a set week of Mesa, then they swapped to random and alpine happened the next 6 days off of pure luck. So they swapped it to alternate. With roots update they set it to be random but added code to make it impossible to be the same back to back to back
