issue is tho, any mods can cause potential issues, and then those ppl go to bug reporting and make bug reports not realising it isnt actually a bug.

e.g. with peaker - there were lfg vanilla posts, where the host had peaker (even tho they had limited it to 4 ppl), but peaker was still installed

before the PEAKER hotfix, peaker caused respawn statues not to work, and then bug reporting got filled with ppl saying respawn statues didnt work

so its easier just to say NO mods whatsoever, to avoid confusion

Get ready for a bit of a long description 😂

To claw jump, you unequip the claw and jump during the pulling animation. It conserves the speed you were going when you jump, so you're only slowed by gravity instead of being actively slowed by the claw. Different points in the claw animation have you moving at different speeds, and the fastest (and what gets you the most potential extra height) tends to be around 0.5 to 1 second after starting the grapple. It can either be used quickly to fling yourself way up onto a wall to keep climbing, or nearer the end just to get yourself up onto a ledge you were grappling to, rather than having to grab and lunge to get onto it, so it saves a lot of time like that

It also makes it more viable in multiplyer if you get good with it, as you can jump before the animation ragdolls you and generally you'll be able to grab a wall/stick the landing

Well, the ragdoll is part of the claw animation, so if you let go and jump before the animation then it won't ragdoll you as much, though there's still some loss of control just because you're going fast
