Most of the time when I'm playing I have music blasting so I really can't hear much. That said I climb so fast that the zombies can't really keep up with me so even if I can't hear them it's not much of a problem xD

I personally just find routing in Tropics more enjoyable. Roots, while it looks beautiful, the climbing is pretty bland I feel. Alpines and Tropics have the best mixture of parts where I can do some fun climbing that doesn't feel like a waste of time.

For example if I'm doing a spider tech in Mesa it feels terrible because I had to spider tech in Mesa and it probably means I got stuck in a dead end. If I do a spider tech in Alpines it's usually to make actual tangible progress.

Roots climbing is mostly just trees and climbing a tree is pretty much the same thing every time. Once you've climbed 1 tree in Roots you've climbed all of them.

you need a certain level of caution to safely take bridges yeah, always look up because spoder-man will end your run, pay attention to where youre headed, be comfortable with branch walking, and setting a timer in your head to intuit when the wind will blow next

How to make lobby code:
In the main menu, go to settings and change lobby mode to 'open to friends'.
Then press host and go into the airport.
The green 'join game' button should now appear on your steam profile. Right click it to copy the link :)
