Try to bring at least one chain gun or ropegun with you they help unreachable spots or changing to other side if ended up on bad side. If doing solos take lollypops they are pretty good .

Make sure the lobby mode (main menu settings) is open to friends

The basic idea is that you can jump and release the claw at any time after using it. Depending on when you release it you will maintain that momentum and it will project you further than you normally would go with a slight increase in height from your original trajectory.

If you release earlier in the claw pull you will launch further then the distance decreases more as you hold it longer

Last time I was playing with someone who had this level of hatred for zombies all I did was show them how easy it is to avoid them and I blew their mind.

And those ledges which look like you can stand on it but you don't.. And other times seemingly bad ledges actually giving you so much room to stand and catch your breath?
I scout-cannon'ed all Ascends to get other colors for my stripe. The game isn't fair to me, so I won't either.

This sounds like your map isn't synced up with everyone else, mods are a common cause of that

It's not that easy when you are out of stam, have little space to move around, and actively getting poisoned by spores

This sounds like a whole lot of skill issue. I don't find myself in these situations because I don't have skill issue. Get skill, no more issue.

When the zombie runs at you right before it lunges all you have to do is lunge left or right and you'll evade the attack. You can take this one step further by placing yourself in-front of a cliff face and forcing the zombie to throw itself off
