I have played the game like 14 hours and its all been solo, ive had one hell of a time. it really is fun doing it solo, but i get the appeal to have a group of friends to scream with as you fall off the mountain. maybe try joining groups instead of inviting people to yours? im not sure exactly how easy it is to find people i havent tried

You could do shore over and over until you get the book of bones, but it really depends on your luck and if you’re good at surviving as a skeleton

The lantern from the plane can help keep you warm for a bit, but I personally got the badge as a skeleton

How can I fix not hearing any player, most of the time when I join a lobby I cant hear anyone¿

Go into settings and raise voice volume

i’ve been playing peak but for some reason nobody can hear me in game but i can hear them, my mic is connected, peak has permission to access it- are there any common solutions to this problem? ive been scrambling all over my steam settings, including pc setting and so forth making sure , rejoining multiple times after changes made has also not worked for some reason..

Is this a consistent problem or just for this current session?

There is a common mic issue that typically just requires you exit out of the game and re-open it to fix but you could also try launching from a different option (Vulkan, Dx11, or Dx12 based on whatever you're already selecting)

also make sure you're joining lobbies close to your region, its caused by a desync with the photon voice netowork, which in most cases is caused by playing with ppl in far away regions etc

ive only experienced the voice issue with nilla who is from US. whenever i play with other ppl in england ive never had the issue once

mix of everything tbh. have ppl in their late 30s, 20s, and teenagers as well. Havent seen anybody say theyre in their 40s or older but im sure theyre around

ill keep that in mind, its just whenever im host or not, it doesnt seem like my mic works even when im specifically alone in lobby)) ive been trying to basically search all over the Internet and so so, the person im playing with is close to my region regardless

ohj wait i was looking at the replies you had so assumed it was the photon desync, ignore everything said as that would apply if you couldnt hear them but you can...

in that case...

make sure all your mic settings are correct, and that peak has permission to use your mic.

if its still not working then try this:
try setting the input format of your mic in Windows Sound Settings (under Control Panel > Sound > Recording tab > Properties > Advanced) to a 2-channel, 44100 Hz or 48000 Hz format. as well as turning off special enhancements in that same tab
