To put things in perspective, the 13 minute WR and a lot of the other top fastest times in the game are all performed between 2 different seeds which were determined to be the best seeds for the fastest potential times. Speedrunners have to downpatch their game to play those seeds.

Additionally they have the entire routes and a lot of item time saves memorized. With that info all they do is continuously reset the map until they get the items they need to perform at those speeds.

It does take an incredible amount of skill to do that but I don't like that those performances take away from what a lot of people do around here every day with great times on current seeds and little to no practice or rerolling for items.

does anyone know why my pc may not run Peak? Every time I load in it goes white, like.. I can move but it's all white, but my pc runs games like phasmophobia, minecraft, cod etc, etc, just fine?

go to steam store page for peak > go to your windows settings > system > about > now compare minimum req specs with yours to see if it meets the minimum requireemnets

Is the difference between tenderfoot and peak difficulty as enormous as i percieve it or is it just skill issue

DX12 is for the 30 series and up whereas Vulkan is more for Radeon

Use DX11
