I find the best way to climb easier is to try and maintain your stamina bar AS BEST as you can

I haven’t been able to get past asc 5, but the lamp definitely helped me get further

On ascent 6+ you’ll be consuming twice the stamina as you do in tenderfoot, you will get much much hungrier, everything weighs an extra tick (1/40th of your stamina bar) you need to bring a flare on your own with the only guaranteed one at the crash site, 2X fall damage, and night time with give you chill and nearly kill you even if you have like no other status effects if you can’t find a source of heat or chill removal. Oh and the time limits are tighter I think but that’s not the issue when everything else is the problem. So basically two slots are auto reserved for lantern and flare

Yeah the Book of Bones negates the hunger and cold nights and I got it after roots so that helped so much. Almost was my doom tho if I didn’t have as fast of a reaction time drinking MILK™️

solo on higher ascents is arguably easier because you can go faster, reducing the hunger penalty. the only helpful thing is being able to help each other with reduced stam but a good route negates this anyways

Also look for many small ledges if you can, the more standing spots the easier the climb. You can normally tell a standable spot by the color, the separation in rock texture and sand is a good example in shore, it’s not 100% accurate but a great rule of thumb. And if you can’t see any route, sometimes the best way up is going down and looking for another way up!

Tragic, I somehow made it my first game, I don’t know how, so many miracles happened that allowed me to withstand everything somehow someway I don’t know. The few tips I researched I guess saved me a whole lot

To remove the zombie bite you need to remove any amount of spores in any way I think, be a cure all, medical root, or 45 seconds prolonged invincibility even I believe, than all you need to do is wait for your spores to naturally or with an item reach zero I believe

Where do i report the fact you cant kick people out of lobbies? this is getting ridiculous considering someone just sabotaged my game, and did not follow the clear rules i set for my lobby. it is not a cute quirk of the game but a gross negligence of its creation and implementation, just like how it has no in game LFG. i'm tired of wasting hours of my time because of griefers or competitive players who have no reason to play vanilla or socially, but i cant weed them out or kick them once they are found to lack team work or casual playfulness i search for in this game.
