ultimate badge solo is either using a checkpoint flag and dying after throwing the frisbee towards the flag (easier imo) or throwing it from a high place and catching it midair (trickshot yipeee)

try setting the input format of your mic in Windows Sound Settings (under Control Panel > Sound > Recording tab > Properties > Advanced) to a 2-channel, 44100 Hz or 48000 Hz format. as well as turning off special enhancements in that same tab

ive seen some mics work without being on those settings, but for ppl whos mic doesnt work, changing it to that usually fixes it

I threw the Idol into the Kiln’s lava and didn’t get the badge, even after Peaking

My only thought is it maybe hit a rock or smth on the way down which killed the achievement or something like that

If you throw it to an area and it starts smoking but the lava is going down it will stop cooking. Try finding a spot that will be hot after the lava raises then throw the egg as it's rising.

It just says available for windows and I understand a MacBook is different, and its launching systems for games is different, but

pathing up the middle through the spores was the easiest method for me. but on my first run, I got BoB in an ancient chest on shore and proceeded to get sidelined by a random spider that I didn't see

I checked shore and a decent bit in roots on tenderfoot, failed three times on ascent 6 in roots, than fourth attempt got past BARELY through roots almost dying to the cold. I used a cooked book of bones and made it through mesa which I didn’t know it would be first try.

I got almost killed by an explosive but ended up saving myself with fortified milk with like a quarter second to spare before the explosion knocked me down and may have killed me otherwise… why were there SO SO SO MANY EXPLOSIEVES, three different luggage’s had explosives in them INCLUDING the one at the campfire 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭

I got through caldera or whatever it’s called easily as a skelly bones, then just used so many items in kiln because saving them for the top doesn’t matter cuz kiln is the final challenge anyways.. but, I DID IT YEAAAAH!!!

all you need to do is get a rope spool (or any sort of rope), place it on a solid surface, grab it, then look at the mandrake and select it to put it in your inventory. this only works if 1 of the 3 inventory slots are empty, so make sure you have an unoccupied slot before you attempt this

Honestly I know the devs have said scorpions are glitched and to stay away from them but for the most part I’ve found them just requiring skill to remove, I never had the pre bugged scorpion experience and have just dealt with this my whole peaking experience.

I may not be the best for advice but I’ve found using the large self like shrooms and especially the roots of trees you can find for very VERY small ledges helps me a lot

Yeah, some of the hardest climbs I’ve done have been in roots, one of my first experiences if not my first there was like.. no good path… at all

I will say in roots be prepared to immediately chuck any single medical root you find, have never found a Mandrake in a cluster

trees are pretty much your best friend for making good vertical coverage on roots. if you see the opportunity to climb one, I would do so. there is usually one or two large trees that link back up to the mountain.

wind also gets rid of spore clouds temporarily which you can use to quickly traverse through an area that is infested with them. sometimes you can just run through the spores and make it out before the effects become too bad. don't forget to use any tools you picked up, especially milk since it lets you run through spores without getting infected

Yeah roots sucks, like 3 enemies, mandrakes, so many status effect stuff, and wind plus terrible routes

i'd try to avoid being on top of any mushrooms or narrow high places like branches when wind is present

it generally is the better option if you have a full stamina bar and aren't near any grabbable objects

otherwise you'll just have to fly in whichever direction it's taking you and hope there's a nearby safe spot to land

Also I recommend if you think you can’t make a climb your attempting to save and use a bit of your stamina to fall and occasionally grab the wall to reset your fall to prevent taking damage
