If you can do it on linux, you can do it on a steam deck, because that is waht it runs - SteamOS is just arch linux under the hood.
And since proton and WINE are a thing, you CAN run most windows programs and games on linux basically no issue

Was at 25 minutes remaining entering Caldera and I had so many rescue claws that helped save the run. And thank goodness I got some good mythical luck. I got knocked out at Kiln and when I reached the camp at Artics, I got a Faerie lantern from the statue and I used it in clutch at the Kiln when I passed out. And when I reached Kiln, I had 3 cooked lollipops and a couple energy drinks which were life savers.

No the level is only shown above their head. When v0.2.0 is released, it shall also appear in the top right of the pause menu .g:
- Pause menu top right: Player (v0.2.0 will be Player [26])
- Scout report: Player
- Nameplate: Player [26]
I might add additional ui for the pause menu as that could be handy to see levels there, its would just be making it look vanilla which would be hard

scoutmaster spawns when certain conditions are met;
Every 30 seconds, the game checks the conditions required to spawn the Scoutmaster. For the Scoutmaster to spawn, there must be at least two active (i.e. not dead or unconscious) players. The current highest player must also be below 1320 meters and above the second highest player by at least 160 meters. If these conditions are met, the Scoutmaster will spawn and begin chasing the current highest player.

This was the most painful badge for me, eat a coconut on shore, eat a honeycomb on tropics/roots, winterberry in mesa or alpine, then finally an egg in caldera
