Around the 30 minute mark is a wall where you start having to dip into minor time saves that add up over the run. Stamina management being a big one that's probably the most draining thing to do

Yeah it's a lot of reading the route and guessing how much stamina you'll need to make a climb. Knowing when to stop sprint jumping (bunny hopping) to get the stamina you need at exactly the right time to start the climb, and just overall really fluid movement

Mostly not. If I'm not popping up on the right side and passing them I just skip it. The only time I'll go out of my way for one is if I'm heading into Caldera and I don't have anything to deal with the heat then I'll go to the statue in hopes for a cure all, pandoras, or BoB because I'd get that time spent back in time that they save while in Caldera

With practice and the right knowledge you can certainly achieve it. My brain is running on low and I'm old and slow but just by purely practicing things over and over I've managed to do pretty well for myself.

Someone like Piano on the other hand is something like a genius prodigy. He's very quick to grasp and master things, has very quick processing on the fly, and has incredible problem solving skills. If only he had more time to play the game he'd be capable of much more than he already does, which is kinda scary

Do it while in the main menu, not the airport. If nothing happens the lobby is full :)
