• Launching on vulkan instead of dx
• Setting texture quality to low
• Updating your graphics drivers

Honestly it such an easy biome I don’t know what to tell you

cannon-glitch-included PB as of today :) could have done a better launch over the caldera, but the insane amount of luggages made the kiln a breeze either way

mesa was CRAZY fun, both with and without book of bones. had a complete and utter blast there today

Which is great for people with real friends who will play games with them, but i think it could make for some really good friend making situations online too if given the opportunity. I'm sure you'd have plenty of frustrating trolls and stuff too, so i can totally see why they went the way they did for sure, just savage to realise that after buying it. i enjoyed my first 2 trys solo, but damn got like half way up and it was either i'd gone a route that wasnt possible or i haven't fully grasped how to exploit the climbing the best way yet xD which im sure is probably a mix of both!

ah the only thing i've ever been able to play without controllers and enjoy were MMOs and even then i ended up with a razer tartarus and a 12 button mouse haha, keyboard gaming never sat right with me despite being able to type quite fast haha

was a console kid til about 17 to muscle memory is bias hahaha

Fair enough, I got heavily into computer gaming when I was about 9 when I started playing Runescape and I haven't touched a console since I was about 14 so I'm almost the opposite 😄

i did try hopping back on recently and starting again but it just didn't keep pulling me back in, but i do think a lot of that was feeling like a noob again xD

it was world of warcraft for me MMO-wise growing up that had its fangs in me properly haha

I can't do the semi-idle nature of the game anymore. Worked great when I was a kid and I had a wild imagination but right now I just can't get invested in clicking on a tree once every 45 seconds

i did get into albion online for a few months as its very similar with a good pvp element, but i've also just accepted as an adult my scope for gaming and attention span isn't as viable as when i was so young haha, having kids also makes it hard to dedicate lots of time in big chunks

Arc raiders has been the first thing i've really got hella into for years now tbh! that game has some incredible interactions hahahaha

which in turn is what made me see this and think, you know what ive been enjoying gaming with randomers on arc, people are raving about funny experiences in peak multiplayer which is why i grabbed it, so its a shame so see it doesn't have that random matchmaking, but i also didn't realise the climbs were anywhere near this long or indepth, so i guess cueing with randomers would end badly way more than not tbh

I've had to come to terms with the fact that I'm no longer the gaming phenom I was when I was younger so I settle with playing games that are mostly not competitive

its a weird realisation when you were kinda always a "gamer" to yourself growing up to find yourself struggling to get sunk into them a lot, but i think the way a lot of modern games are so predatory plays a part on that too, as you grow older you see more of that, and it gets tiresome.

I've been playing more retro stuff these days than new stuff, and the new stuff i do play is often indie rather than AAA

Yeah I'm mostly into indie games or fully idle games. I play a lot of survival crafting stuff like Valheim as well

yeah some of the older titles have such a wave of nostalgia i can't help but go back to them once in a while. I'm gonna try and pick up an AYN thor soon as it seems the perfect emu station for me, i was a huge DS fan in my younger years so to have a device that can emulate that well and everything else will be great.
