always look for a nearby area to take cover if the blizzard is about to appear. i dont know the exact amount of time that passes between each blizzard, but generally the rule of thumb is to avoid being in open areas for too long (same with mesa). you have about a half second when the blizzard spawns in before it starts applying tick damage. 8 ticks puts you at 20% and depending on how fully exposed you are to the cold will make the tick damage go faster

If they added matchmaking they'd then have to add in moderation for the matchmaking as well as an anti-cheat which they've said won't really work well for this game. Additionally when they made this they intended for people to play with their real friends, not strangers online

The Ascent 7 version is incredibly tough because you have to bring the flare and the lantern. You get 1 slot for something else until Caldera xD

You just paste a link ⁠into your internet browser (the url bar at the top) - You will get a popup to open with steam.
Do it while in the main menu, not the airport. If nothing happens the lobby is full 🙂
