Not sure where feedback could be posted, if at all.

The book of bones is limited to the point where it is borderline useless gimmick.

Turning yourslf or others into a skeleton is all fun and games.
But as a way to revive someone, it is sadly a very situational afterthought.

Why can't someone try to revive a scout with their ghost and get a phantom scout instead?
The book makes them tangible, but still ghost like.

That or, if reviving a scout's skeleton is the only way; would help if you can carry the skull or carry the bones of the dead scout.

Why post all of this?

A friend died because of a bug that made him gain momentum while scalling a slope and it plunged his body in lava. There is no way I can get his skeleton back without dying myself.
There is also no chance for him to get out of there as a skeleton any ways.

It was a dead run that took 2 hours to play out.

A whole session that went to waste.

There is sadly not enough time in a day to spare on a 1 hour long run in the game as is.

And wasting all of that to die because of laggy high jinx is eating away at one's interest to play the game.

TLDR
My friend died in a long run and I refused to finish the game without him and there was nothing I could do to help with him.

Rescue claw is just op. Doesn't ruin for getting the Leave no Trace badge. Got it along with naturalist badge and gourmand badge in the same run. The maps today are one of the easiest, take advantage of it.

You can try Rescue claw. Tips is to unequip it once you are close to a wall to avoid getting ragdoll and/or be able to latch on a surface. Also for safety make sure to use it above where there is a platform below you can stand incase you fucked it. Takes a while for me to get it but once you do you'll love it

I wonder if they add enough biomes, they can add a campaign/camping mode.

You unlock it like any other higher ascent.

You get camping gear (with some that you can get along the way to repair, replace, or upgrade your camp).

Campfires become camping spots and players can rest at these areas for a save point to continue a run.

A full run can be more or less 6 hours, but you get to break it down to 1/2 hour segments like the usual climbing sessions.

on average peaks should take 1:20:00, this game just isnt the type to be saved for later, its climbing to a peak not really a save progress and do later type thing

Save checkpoints dont make a whole ton of sense for the game imo. It sort of ruins the whole idea of feeling like you actually lost something when you die.
It's like when people do steel soul runs in hollow knight. If they feel like they're in danger the can just save and quit to go back to the start of the region

Well to my brain geometry dash is what I think of as a platformer 😂 Featuring a small character navigating /jumping through blocks in their way in a horizontal continous playing field. No first pov or being able to turn around or see outside the static 2d scene.
