The tomb is always there, but the entrance has a 50% chance to be opened every mesa seed. If it's closed, you can still enter through the exit by getting bugged through the wall with any type of rope, peeton, or chain, but it's difficult to do It at first

You can also force different Mesa seeds with the mod TerrainRandomizer 'til you get the entrance opened, but if you are new, I just suggest you to play vanilla and enjoy the game with its essence first

Just get into mods when you have all unlocked and are getting bored of the game

In the boarding gate before starting the run, you have to activate an option that says terrainrandomiser. That will display the terrainrandomiser interface to configure the seeds, biomes and biome variants you want to play
