I will note that that if there truely are game breaking bugs that ruin the over all experience and goal of the game that the developers would likely be patching it out or at least trying to patch it out (and sharring their progress as landcrab does). Also bug fixes are more held for patches. A larger update such as roots or mesa would be better for new content instead of fixing old.

Your bar is invisible because of the mushroom effect but that doesn't mean its filled with negative stuff, it goes away with time
