There's such an absurd amount of food in the game that unless you have like 10 people it honestly shouldn't matter

You need about 100 hunger's worth of food every 40-50 minutes in Ascent 7. In other words, 2 and a half marshmallows, less than 2 Airline Foods, barely over 2 Kingberries, etc.

when solo energy drinks and lollipops are much better, since you don't need a rope to share the buff. placing small ropes in the direction you want to climb to have something similar strong to being pulled by a fellow scout can help a lot.

or simply setting down your backpack to climb ahead with more stamina and let some rope down to retrieve your pack almost negates how heavy it is. ascent 1 isn't too bad, if you find some scout cookies you can hold onto for caldera/kiln and otherwise scavenge food you shold honestly be fine.
