In my experience blizzards last about 10ish seconds so if you get good at timing it you might be able to exit your cover and start running the moment the blizzard ends, actual advice, look in bushes in tropics for scorch berries to bring to the alpine

always remember to plan your route before climbing, explore the area from the end of tropics, exactly where you can see the whole alpines
