Yes just now it happened to me and three friends. Add to that the disappearing item when you drop them on the floor (4 times last run) and all various bug and I'm out. We are basically beta testing the game, except it's not a labeled as an early access game.

ive found that items only usually dissapear often (id say on average otherwise its your backpack eveyr like 20 games or so), if youre playing with inconsitent internet connection/high ping. this is most common in players playing from different countries as each other cos youre having to connect to a server further away
