Alpine is objectively more challenging imo with the climbs, mesa just feels like hell sometimes due to the rng nados and tumbleweeds, the canyon + the climb up (its much taller than alpines + its a maze to try and go up)

practice will give you a bit of an intuition on what routes you can take and what items you'll want. playing co op can also be helpful

Play on Tenderfoot and if a wall looks bad, stop climbing and go back. That way instead of dying you can keep going and maybe find the route that works.

cold nap doesn't leave room for mistakes because if you're hungry or injured at a bad time you don't have any way to stop the 3m20s of cold coming your way. safest choice is slow but use the lantern just enough to stay awake and the sun can clear whatevers left

okay after 3 games of peak heres what info ive gotten about the game (mainly just the items)

green apples are poisonous, so are cluster mushrooms. something called the faery lantern (i think) heals you while lit, lollipop gives infinite stamina but makes you very tired, and pandoras box does something

also dont touch jellyfish

i mean idk, it might be because mine are always angled up but thats what i do, i light the fuse, walk around, jump and try and make sure my feet are in at least, then just hit movement keys to try and get further in
