lunging uses a set amount of stamina, but if you don't have that amount of stamina left, it still lets you lunge. Thus, lunging when you have just a sliver left lets you get a little higher than not doing that @lapis kelp

My lateset run was an Ascent 7 climb with a party of four. Two perished in the Tropics and one at the end of the Mesa (when she needed to take a bathroom break...right in the outside in the day. She thought a cactus served as enough shelter). I reached the Kiln, but soon ran out of options when I was carrying four balloons, but had room for only one tool, a box of scout cookies, and a faerie lantern. Was carrying three separate balloons (the fourth one was found in the Kiln) too much to offset the weight penalty? What's generally the most single balloons you should carry before the lack of inventory space becomes a problem?
