I think if the item is in the same biome you are it will not despawn.

I think terrainrandomiser needs an update (hello vanilla) because it always generated a wacky floaty shore, a tropics completely coated in thorns, an alpine that was slightly too high and so was weirdly dark blue and about 30 lookers

and I tried like 8 different seeds and always got variations like that (was hoping to find purple tropics.. or geyser hells or something)

nah, I walked up yesterdays mountain on a2 and the mountain before than on a4 in 50 minutes each. obviously I have a lot of time played but RNG is not going to make it impossible by any means, especially if you're doing achievement running on tenderfoot

then on top of that, you literally just have to run it once, find a route, then run it again with the route known and no time wasting. that would work for fall damage and it would work for speedrun

and maybe that's harder, but also they're challenges, going slightly out of your way to do them is kind of the definition of a challenge
