Apparently some items can also be cooked twice? But I don't know which ones can be done successfully and I don't think it adds anything. I'm hoping the double-cook mechanic might help with poisonous foods, but I haven't tried it yet.

all are related to graphics rendering. dx12 and dx11 are DirectX 12 and 11. older graphics cards might need dx11 but dx12 and vulkan are the real options here. my understanding is that dx12 is usually the best option if you have windows and vulkan otherwise (linux including steamdeck)
