Climb a wall and place the rope just higher than you can normally reach. It's like a free jump

if you do tropics twice with the same map, you will find an optimal route

also tropics will always be the hardest, freaking hate the rain

this is actually true btw on asc6+ they take alot of stamina on the go you probably only have 25~ by the time u get to where u want

hope you had extra stamina in the pocket by then otherwise you're maybe dead

The golden bing bong statue makes one immune to pretty much all damage, and you can float on lava with it, so I was thinking, why couldn't one just use the statue in the kiln to float to the top, climb up what little is left, and then toss the statue in for the achievement

Theres some real interesting trends in some games when you go by language. Caldera also lacks an easy startoff point compared to how it usually is. My partner died a stupid death at the beginning because I tried rushing ahead to the nearest rock while the lava tide was down. Then he tried the same as it was going up, and burned to death right at the start of the map

you have to zig zag back and forth on mesa from left to right to find short climbing spots

I think Mesa was just the usual kind of bad. My partner and I were surprisingly able to get through it with not as many tools used as I feared. Tropics just had absolutely no obvious way up, and Shoreline didn't feel like a starter zone at all
