Is the desert more viable for solo runs then artic spot?

lanterns, fairie lanterns and scorch berries. also i always rest a full night at the shores bonfire. if you freeze almost to death and then light the bonfire, youll be at dawn by the time the fire goes out. also if you ration the lantern, you can usually get two nights out of one lantern.

Prioritize launchers, energy drinks, and lollipops when entering. Keep one esoteric item related to healing if you have it. shelf fungi are great too. Also, if you have run out of room, carry an extra item like an energy drink with you to use when you enter the kiln for an extra boost up.

Hot peppers do wonders, and help with food as well. Several legendary items from the statue can help. And geysers in Alpine are very useful.
