alright in the settings go to lobby mode and put it as "open to friends", then enter a host lobby and open steam the usual way. Go to ur profile page (or reload the page if ur already there) and there'll be the green button on the right side. Right click it and copy the lobby link

I would assume not, because you don't leave the scout behind (hopefully). It's not a permanent placement type of thing as opposed to all the other deployables which get left behind.

Just me or does anyone absolutely despise the mesa seeds? They always seem so bad. Finding the 'right' path always feels like extreme luck as opposed to having a trained eye for paths that make sense. This stuff may not matter, but I find it run breaking for ASC6/7 runs

This one today is particularly bad due to one part which has a lot of dead ends. But generally I think Mesa is just slower than Alpines but almost always easier

I'm chalking my mesa experiences to inexperience with the general formations. I think the key might be in understanding the layered shape and so when its worth going to the sun side and when to use an inner tunnel.

I've cleared it on Ascent 6 and Ascent 7 today and both times I wanted to throw myself off the mountain rather than continue. Might have had something to do with the ghost voices in my head, not sure.

If you mess up you end up under the edge of the next layer and they're usually quite far/dangerous. Then you're using a climbing item and getting cooked for your troubles

They're usually quite generous with luggage and the dynamite cooking buys you more time to starve than the occasional orange winterberry tree

some badges have this issue of not explaining the full story. for the antlion one you need to move far away before the badge triggers. for the endurance once iirc you need to additionally use all your stamina(?) then go back down to the ground(?)

Idk how to help that, I've done it so many times and every time it gets unlocked when my stamina drains. If it's situational based then that means it could be based on PC specs, internet connection, some other skill issue reasons.
