you don't need that much food by the time you get to kiln. shoot if you have a cure all you don't even need food.

I needed like...one marshmallow the entirety of my kiln run today, though to be fair it was on normal. ascent 6 makes things much more difficult if that's what you're on.

also it's easy enough to just find food in the luggages normally. like...one spot for a food item, one spot for a flare, the rest can just be climbing equipment.

i don't know what to tell you except I just used gear and got up without an issue. i'm sure there are more optimal ways than i did but it's not impossible, 5 slots for gear is a lot to work with in this game. the climbing gear spawns for a reason is all i can say.

To use steam links you copy and paste it into your browser, make sure you are using the top url space and not the in tab one. You also need to change your invite settings to "open to friends". If it doesn't work the first time open the game and try again. If you still cant open games the lobby might be closed.

There's definitely something off with the whole scenario especially with the looker now existing. There are people alive and staying on the island somewhere

Scouts have effigies and statues from the ancient past. Dynamite lights itself when anyone comes near. There are pickaxes so large even Myres might have a problem using them. The dead can come back to life, and items exist that can cure any disease or injury, fall in the opposite direction of gravity, or inspire anyone with infinite stamina. Not to mention that helicopter is awfully close when you light that flare.

Ive been trying for ages and this is the way it worked for me. Had to climb up to the point where my stamina was completely gone and then slide down. Only once I started sliding did I get the achievement.

you need
1 scout cannon
1 flare
1 bing bong (no reason aside from yes)
1 backpack

place the scout cannon next to the plane wing on the shore, aim it toward the top of the mountain, and place the backpack inside, once u light the fuse, jump in, do the play dead emote, and once airborn, spam the play dead emote over and over until you see the title card for the peak, once u see it, light the flare, and the countdown for the helicopter should begin, now just wait and you should win
