i've done some small amount of it in an area that's well travelled (not mammoth, but something actual guides can take you down, Laurel Caverns in Pennsylvania). got a taste of crawlspaces and cold water. It was fun, but there is no way in hell i'm "pioneering" in that field or going anywhere where emergency staff/guides aren't there to immediately help if something goes wrong. It's a tourist attraction so it felt a lot safer.

when we reset I can send a screenshot! once you enter the mesa, drop down the ground and to your left there is a TINY pool with a capybara half body sticking out - the rest is in a rock. but if you go to the ground and follow the main wall you should be able to find them!

if you're playing today, about midway up the kiln there's a bit of a weird spot where (at least to me when I did it), it looks like there's multiple routes with ledges but only one really works. i wasn't paying attention to direction because i was sort of hyperfocused on getting up, but just take a couple minutes to look around that whole area before you use anything for climbing. easy to waste things on stuff that doesn't go anywhere.

well me saying every update is also an oversimplification they basically choose when to switch out the map pool, it usually happens with an update but not every update

basically this explains you sometimes getting 1GB install for a seemingly small update, its when the map pool changes

I'm quite happy with my Medic and Mushroom hats, cuz they were the two badges I have the most distinct memories of working towards. Throwing myself down the Mesa to get that last mushroom I needed after spotting it from 400m up and somehow surviving the climb a second time was a great challenge. And finally getting the Medic cap after the achievement was fixed and completing the sash was excellent indeed.

They're basic, but I care about those two hats the most for those reasons.
