Also to pass the caldera you should keep an eye out for lines of rocks close together, those are the best rocks. Don't be afriad to do short runs on the hot ground when the lava recedes if you have to. It's not nearly as hard a biome as the one before it if you understand how it works

@frail vale gotcha, so you need to look more before you commit. the sandy/grassy sections are where you can stand, look for those, don't be afraid to double back, looking behind you once on a new ledge is a good habit.

Yes, but the route I have in mind is harder. Fog wall height is higher so now the idea for 1 day cannon victory is to go below the fog wall on the invisible floor under the map at 0m. You probably are gonna need 2 cannons, a lantern, a shelf mushroom, a flare, a backpack and some skill to pull this off, so its alot more challenging than the previous way of doing it. Maybe you will not win in just one day, its a long walk to the end...

Soo basically I kinda foudn this out with the Bing Bong idol. Golden bing bong idol did not EVER burn/cook for me when I was non host crossing caldera, but when I was host it would burn in hand
I assume its the same for food items but yk I really dont knoww. Something is very inconsistent about this behavior and "ownership" of lobby is my best guess

It's basically better stuff. Anti rope cannon, anti rope spool which work like regular rope except they go up and have negative weight as far as I'm aware. These are the things that leave a trace. Chain launchers, rope cannons etc

-when the rocks you're standing on turn yellow and look like they're gonna burn you, go to the nearest rock that isn't like that
-look at the ground. Sometimes the lava level lowers and it exposes hot ground you can run across. It deals a bit of damage that will heal by itself quickly

Hey all! Not sure if anyone's already said this, but I noticed while playing in offline mode that there's no way to save your progress.

Might be a silly thing to implement, but I would personally love it as I've been playing on my Steam Deck in shorter bursts while traveling. Would be cool to save my progress instead of starting over every time when I only play for 20 minutes at a time.
