There's no need to put folks down. Even a well planned route based on what you could see from other angles might turn out to conclude with a section that's infeasible without tools, and you might not want to risk descending too far.

it kinda is though. the game is all about planning. you go the wrong route or use a piton/shelf/whatever to get up a section and you don't get up its poor planning. yeah there is rng in the game, but it mostly comes down to the route you planned on going. not your fault always, but it still is a result of poor planning

You can only plan from what you can see, and you can't see everything. You can ascend what was visibly a good route, only for it to turn out to be a jam somewhere that was out of sight earlier.

Making it to a spot where you feel like you need to use a tool isn't bad planning, it's the typical peak experience. And responding to someone talking about that after their first ascent by putting them down is needless.

"you never HAVE to do anything. there is always an alternative path unless you have poor planning skills and are super injured or something" is definitely downing. They planned and climbed well enough to reach the end, and only had to supplement themselves with one tool when their route had a hiccup on it. Chiming in by saying that they're a poor planner is unnecessary and there's better ways to offer feedback.

most mods are designed for vulkan, so thunderstore will run it in vulkan. The desktop shortcut also defaults to vulkan and you cant change it. You have to open from steam as the dx12 path is integrated through steam

The vast majority of the wall and ceiling textures aren't working properly in the airport, they go completely invisible at most angles. The jellies are usually visible but at occasional angles they also get invisble

The alpines are much harder because of the way they are generated. The tropics also have honeycombs and sometimes the big vines with no spikes on them
