i usualy keep at least two rope launchers or a rope and chain launcher for emergencies, but cooked food or energy drinks are good too. if you're playing solo get as much extra stamina as you can tho

If you're familiar with Ascent 5, holding hands with one person is enough stop the cold from progressing but you won't warm up. 3-4 people will slowly warm up faster than you get cold.

When I was pathing today, I found that starting in the center at the bottom, going left towards the glacier terrain and then finding a way to loop to the right side, we managed to find a route that way using only two shell fungus

Yeah Alpines is easily doable with no items if you start inside mid, climb up to the left towards the outside, then loop around inside to the right, climbing outside the rest.

Up to that point if you can avoid using tools altogether, you’d have plenty for Alpine

Shore and Tropics we found a good enough route that we were able to avoid using anything up until Alpine

I'd say use item, you always get more, there's a shit ton of luggage in every biome, unless you're doing itemless, using 1-2 items per region, even in shore, will get you the win and also makes the game funnier and fresher

Dont worry about extra stamina, you probably won't need it on tenderfoot so you can save some time at the beginning by not grabbing coconuts. Constantly spam sprint jump the entire time playing as it makes you go much faster

it makes sense since the rope launcher part weighs a bit to counteract the anti-rope it shoots
