tropics looks like it's hard every day tbh. you can climb the trees with the round tops and climb up through them to stand on top of the leaves. not a lot of people seem to use that. if you're running and jumping, you can grab and slide across a vine with a lot of momentum. you can also use that momentum to swing on hanging ropes and stuff, or so i've read

Tropics usually are the hardest. I used to think Alpine until I started only climbing the sides

I only died twice in Caldera, not once in Kiln. Alpine depends on the terrain, but I can't count how many times I've died in the Tropics. I despise this part the most. The rest is easy in my opinion.

Caldera is easy once you stick close to the ground instead of wasting hunger climbing around

It really is just the tropics that is the number 1 run killer. The rain has started at the point of no return for my way too many times and it gets me killed

basically in a higher ascent level you dont want to go with 4 people as food becomes a major issue

solo is p much impossible unless you get a good run past ascent 4-5

you likely want 1 other person to play with during high runs. maybe 2 if you're REALLY GOOD at keeping ur food levels low and already know a good route to not waste any time

Arguably in Ascent 5 or higher. if you are well coordinated and fast enough having 4 peakers helps in keeping yourselves warm fast by huddling. 3 is enough to warm up but slower, while 2 is just enough to stall the cold

so i have the assumption that its possible you need to make sure you dont get forced fed, nor feed them such things

Solo is harder because you don't have any team mates who can help navigate, carry stuff, or heal you if you take a bad fall.
Solo is easier because you don't have to wait for people who might be slower than you due to skill, injury, or weight. You also don't need to share food, and don't need to stress about leaving them behind which makes Energy Drinks and Lollipops easier to use.

I played the Beta and I got the missing scrolls by repeating the map until I got the final scrolls. For example, when you find the 5th Scroll, the next one will be the 6th one etc. but it doesn't always spawn, so you eventually have to re-run

Currently, the region you open the scroll changes what pages are available; pages 1-4 are in Shore/Tropics, 5-7 are Alpine, and 8 is Caldera. If you've read pages 1-6 for example and then open a scroll in the Shore, you won't progress because that page is too low.
In the Beta, no matter where you open the scroll you will progress to the next page you need. Essentially, all 8 pages are available no matter where you are on the mountain.

Well, I didn't get any more Scrolls on Shore and Tropics, because I already had the first 4 or 5 Scrolls. Then I found Scroll 6 and 7 on Alpines and after that, in my next run, nothing spawned on any level except the final one after Caldeva. I think they just mentioned that they fixed the order because sometimes, you got the first pages when hitting the end of Caldeva.
