If possible, save one or two rope launchers/chain launchers as they can be very helpful. Energy Drinks are great for climbing up sheer cliffs if you see a ledge you can reach. Otherwise try to have a couple food items because the only food you're gonna find in there is in suit cases which is RNG.
Stay open to the idea of climbing straight up over a ledge or around blind corners, but try to have an escape plan in case it goes poorly.

YMMV, but I find healing items to be useless for kiln, because most of the time if you're taking damage you're also falling to the bottom and dying. But a medpack in your hands could be clutch if you land on a ledge instead of the lava pool at the bottom.

yes, and it's sometimes very inconsistent, some people got the same one 10 times in a row despite opening it in different biomes, there is some bugs with that achievement

Its mostly curiosity and besides its more for older gpus that i did wonder. a gtx 1080 doesnt handle Dead Space Remake well due to dx12 while a rtx 3060 which is almost an equivalent handles it somewhat fine
