Man, I recently played some modded Peak (mainly more players) and I gotta say, it was fun hearing 8-12 different people screaming at the top of their lungs from different directions. Especially on Ascent 5 (when the night makes us cold).
Additionally, we had God/a cheater playing with us so he was using a lot of funny hacks, item spawning, and cheats to make the game... even more peak.
For better and for worse, this is how I beat Ascent 5 [only did up till Ascent 2], although some of my progress, INCLUDING THE ENTIRETY OF THE KILN, was skipped due to the God's cheats.
(I will repent by going back to the previous ascents and actually being them fr)

I made an observation about Peak a while back, and I wanna share it, I feel like the game genuinely respects my time and after a failed or won run (usually ended by Kiln/Caldera, rarely Alpine now) when I see "hey this took you 1hr 30min" I feel genuinely fine just calling it a day there and trying again in maybe like, 10-11 hours from then, because for as fun and engaging it all is, the game feels done after a consectutive run or two
